【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodsoftestforflexiblesocket-and-spigotjointswithelastomericsealingelementsforglass-reinforcedthermosettingplastics(GRP)pipingsystemsintendedforburiedandabove-groundpipelines.Itcoversmethodsoftestfortheleaktightnessofthejointonly,whensubjectedtospecifiedcombinationsoflongitudinalextension(draw),angularmovement(angulardeflection),verticalcompression(misalignment)andinternalpressure.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletojointsforeitherpressureornon-pressureapplications.NOTEThejointstestedinaccordancewiththisInternationalStandardaresubjectedtoconditionswhichmeasuretheirabilitytofunctionandtherebyprovethedesignofthejoint,especiallyfortype-testingpurposes.Thesetestproceduresareapplicabletojointsforpipesandfittingsofallnominalsizes.Thetestsaresuitablefortheevaluationofjointsintendedforapplicationsinwhichliquidsareconveyedattemperaturesspecifiedinthereferringspecifications(seeclause2).
