【摘要】:ThispartofISO14680isoneofaseriesofstandardsdealingwiththesamplingandtestingofpaints,varnishesandrelatedproducts.Itspecifiesamethodfordeterminingthepigmentcontentofpaintsinwhichpotassiumhydroxidesolutionisaddedtocoagulatethepigmentandtheresultingsolidsfilteredoff.Themethodisparticularlyapplicabletocoatingmaterialscontainingcarbonblack,veryfinelydividedsilicondioxide,veryfinelydividedtitaniumdioxide,organicpigmentsorpolymerdispersions.Itisnotapplicabletomanywater-dilutablepaintsbecausethewholebinderwillcoagulatewhenthepotassiumhydroxidesolutionisadded.Thepigmentcontentofcoatingmaterialscanalsobedeterminedbyacentrifugemethod(seeISO14680-1)orbyanashingmethod(seeISO14680-2).
