【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthepropertiesofheattreatedscrewswithatappingscrewthreadinaccordancewithISO1478,andwhicharedesignedwithadrillingpointwhichautomaticallydrillsthecoreholeforthescrewduringassembly.Suchscrewsthenautomaticallyformthematingscrewthread,eitherinanon-cuttingorinacuttingoperation,withtheaidofthethreadedportionofthescrewadjoiningthedrillingpoint.ThepurposeofthisInternationalStandardistoensurethatthescrewsareabletodrilltheircoreholeandformtheirmatingscrewthreadwithoutbecomingdistortedorfracturingintheprocess,providedthatnooverstressinghasoccurred.Consequentlythefollowingcharacteristicsareregardedasrepresentingthemostimportantaspectsfortheassessmentofthemechanicalandoperationalcharacteristicsofadrillingscrew:—surfacehardness;—capabilityofcoreholedrillingandformingofthematingfemalescrewthread;—torsionalstrength.
