【摘要】:Thegenerationanddissipationofelectrostaticchargeinfuelduetohandlingdependlargelyontheionicspeciespresentwhichmaybecharacterizedbytherestorequilibriumelectricalconductivity.Thetimeforstaticchargetodissipateisinverselyrelatedtoconductivity.ThistestmethodcansupplementTestMethodD2624whichislimitedtofuelscontainingstaticdissipatoradditive.Note18212;Forlow-conductivityfluidsbelow1pS/minconductivity,anacmeasurementtechniqueispreferabletoadctestmethodforsensingtheelectricalconductivityofbulkfluid.Thisdctestmethodcanbeusedatconductivitiesfrom0.1to1pS/mifprecautionsareobservedincellcleaningandsamplehandling.Awaitingperiodof15minisrequiredafterfillingthecellbeforemeasuringdcconductivitiesbelow1pS/m.Asingle-laboratoryprogramwasconductedcomparingthistestmethodwithacTestMethodsD150.31.1Thistestmethodappliestothedeterminationofthe"rest"electricalconductivityofaviationfuelsandothersimilarlow-conductivityhydrocarbonliquidsintherangefrom0.1to2000pS/m(see3.2).Thistestmethodcanbeusedinthelaboratoryorinthefield.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,see7.1.1and7.2.
